Creating healthy cities where babies,
toddlers and their families can thrive

Urban95

Campaign design

If you could experience a city from 95cm – the height of a 3-year-old – what would you change? Urban95 asks this bold but simple question of the world’s city leaders, planners, architects, and innovators.

Urban95 is the Bernard van Leer Foundation’s flagship initiative to make lasting change in the landscapes and opportunities that shape the crucial first five years of children’s lives.

We have been supporting the Bernard van Leer Foundation in the development of the initiative’s identity and creation of collateral that is enabling the Foundation to present Urban95 globally and develop city partnerships.

A key component has been the creation of an infographic showing how Urban95 strategies can be easily applied to an existing city infrastructure to create an Urban95 city. This kind of accessible, graphical illustration of how cities can execute Urban95 strategies quickly and cheaply is critical in gaining understanding and engagement from global stakeholders and influencers.

In addition we have been helping the Bernard van Leer team promote the initiative across a range of events and conferences, providing them with a suite of collateral, programmes and signage.

The work went on show at the hugely influential CityLab Paris in September and received much anecdotal praise.

“Wolf&Player provide a great the mix of project management skills, professionalism, creativity and integrity. From beginning to end, the project was smooth, and even when changes in direction occurred, they adapted with flexibility and often came back with even better solutions and ideas. We are delighted with the result and would not hesitate to work with them again!”
